Excellent Production

Now showing in the Kay Theater at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at The University of Maryland, an outstanding production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible. A stinging look back at the Patriot Act . . .oops! I mean, the Salem witchcraft trials of 1692. I thought the guy who played Rumsfeld was particularly good.

This is a sharp time, now, a precise time—we live no longer in the dusky afternoon when evil mixed itself with good and befuddled the world. Now, by God’s grace, the shining sun is up, and them that fear not light will surely praise it."
