Gettysburg Tomorrow

"On this ride you get to look at the mountains, not climb them, as you meander along pleasant country roads through the lush rolling farmland of the Monocacy and Carroll Valleys to Gettysburg and back. As a bonus, you'll see five covered bridges on this route."
Awwwww ... sounds so sweet, doesn't it? Well, we'll see what they mean by "rolling farmland." It's probably going to be brutal.
I rode 50 miles yesterday as a warm-up for tomorrow. My sister-in-law Catherine and I rode the Northern Central Railroad Trail from Paper Mill up to Glen Rock, Pennsylvania and back. In Pennsylavania the name of the trail changes to Heritage Rail Trail.

The Lake Nockamixon ride was my final ride in August bringing my total miles for the month to 470 miles (750 km).
In September I have only done two rides so far; yesterday's 50-miler and 45 miles on the day of the Save A Limb ride with Bob Roll.
